JOB TITLE :  JAVA WEB DEVELOPER

Duration :  One year plus (renewable)

 

Scope of Work

Shall perform all the work required to manage, enhance and maintain J

ava and J2EE related applications.

 

List of Activities/Tasks

·      Develop, manage and maintain the Internet/Extranet website using Java and J2EE application

·         Perform all the work required to develop/manage the Saudi Aramco Internet/extranet websites. Enhance and maintain J2EE applications

·         Build JSP pages, define Java beans and define database connection pools

·         Understanding of database technologies from a developer and DBA standpoint

·        Enforcing/applying J2EE standards in development.

·         Create content feeding forms, executable content loaders using Java

·         J2EE application administration.

·         Quality Assurance Testing

·         Troubleshooting J2EE application and Java related tools.

·         Train Saudi Aramco analysts to abele to support Java applications.

 

Skills required:

Should have the following Java application related skills:

·         Java, Java Servlet, JSP, C++, Visual C++, VJ++ and EJB

·         Data modeling, SQL, database sizing. 

·         Knowledge in Java application servers (Apache iPlanet Weblogic).

 

 

JOB TITLE :    WEB APPLICATION SYSTEMS ANALYST

Duration :  12 Months (renewable)

 

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Will be required to perform the full software development life-cycle tasks such as but not limited to Application System Analysis, Design and Prototype, Construction, Unit and System Testing, Technical Documentation for System Specifications and reference manuals, and Application Implementation. To search, analyze and evaluate alternative business solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost effective solution for the system design. Business Analysis must have experience in applications/systems.

 

SKILLS REQUIRED AND ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Hands on experience in C#, .Net Framework, ASP.Net, XML, Web Services, JavaScript, HTML/DHTML, SQL Server, Visual Basic, Oracle PL/SQL, VB Script, and OLAP/BDW tools (i.e. Seagate, Business Object, Oracle Express, Beyond 20/20)

 

DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Experience in Crystal reports, Microsoft Content Management Server, Biztalk Server, SharePoint Technologies, Java, UML, OOA/OOD, Client/Server Technology (Source Safe, PVCS, InstallShield and Robohelp.)
